About the Journal

Online Journal of Humanities ETAGTSU is an academic journal peer-reviewed by at least two referees. Online Journal of Humanities ETAGTSU publishes articles of scholars working in the field of Humanities: Anthropology, Archaeology, Art and Art History, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, History & Philosophy of Science, Interdisciplinary research in the Humanities, Language, Linguistics, Literature, Pedagogical & Educational Research and Religious Studies. It is a professional, online publication aiming at creating an open space for the exchange of theoretical and practical ideas in different areas of Humanities at both pre and post-doctoral levels.

The Name of the journal:  ETAGTSU  (Online Journal of Humanities) is a unique name and is very unlikely to mislead potential contributors. The journal is monolingual, manuscripts are accepted in  English and the articles are published only in English.

Copyright and Licensing Policy:   the articles published in ETAGTSU are available under a Creative Commons licence Attribution-No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0)

The authors of the accepted contributions are obliged to fill and send a signed statement confirming the transfer of proprietary copyrights to the publisher (follow the link to see the contract template). The content published in the journal is fully protected by the copyright law.

Article submission period: December 1 - April 1 (annually).

Author fees: No fees or charges are required for submission processing or publishing. There are no any kind of:

  • article processing charges (APCs)

Publishing schedule: ETAGTSU  (Online Journal of Humanities)  is an annual journal, volumes are published in the last quarter of every year;

Online Journal of Humanities ETAGTSU is initiated and managed by the English Teachers’ Association of Georgia (ETAG) in cooperation with the Department of English Philology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).  

Access: Online Journal of Humanities ETAGTSU  applies an Open Access policy in line with BOAI principles. An open access to an electronic version of published contributions is provided with no embargo period. See more at (ETAGTSU Open access page).

Author Self-Archiving: Authors may make their ETAGTSU contributions available online in repositories, websites and other platforms.

Ownership and management: ETAGTSU It is owned by English Teachers’ Association of Georgia (ETAG) in cooperation with the Department of English Philology at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and  is managed by an editor who is a full-time faculty member at that (TSU).
